The shoe was designed in partnership with solesbyMICHELIN. This exclusive outsole uses the high-performance Michelin rubber compound. A rugged tread design provides greater traction in all weather conditions and has an integrated toe-cap for more durability and protection. An extensive climbing zone at the toe provides edging performance on technical terrains, while the TPU piece under the toes and heel provides more support and stability. Trekking boots require a snug fit around the heel area to prevent unwanted movements which can lead to excessive friction and blisters. The Heel Fit System (HFS) consists of anatomically sculpted pieces of foam padding which hold the heel comfortably and securely in place to avoid unwanted movements.
