In 1947, the iconic pampa boot was created as the official footwear of the legendary french foreign legion by engineering sturdy canvas and durable rubber. Working in collaboration, the Palladium and Michelin teams have developed a new outsole based on Michelin’s award-winning CrossClimate tyres. Created for all-season driving conditions, Michelin’s CrossClimate family introduced the brand’s first summer tyres with winter capabilities and the ability to tackle all weather conditions including mud and snow. Shared functionality through the PALLADIUM X TECH family includes the Michelin-branded CrossClimate rubber outsole featuring reverse chevron lugs for ultimate fore-foot traction, Palladium’s Waterproof-Plus technology, seam-sealed waterproof impregnated uppers, energy-returning honeycomb sock-liners, cushioned cuffs and protective rubber toecaps.
Taking pole position on the product starting grid is the PAMPA X TECH BIBENDUM. With a puffy panelled upper mimicking Bibendum, Michelin’s tyre-stacked mascot, the style is available in black/black and white/black. Additional standout styles include the leather PAMPA X TECH WPN featuring ballistic nylon side panels, plus the wool-lined leather PAMPA X TECH WPS boot available in black/black and amber gold. All leathers are seam-sealed and impregnated with waterproofing barriers.
