Trail running

Trail running is a sport-activity which combines running and hiking, in which the aim is to run “on any unpaved surface”. However it is similar to both mountain and hill running, trail running doesn’t require to be in the mountains: as a matter of fact, it is considered a “trail run” when you are not on paved, asphalt or surfaced roads: it’s all about moving in outdoor and natural environments.
