Vikings history starts January 17th, 1920 when our founding father Peter Mathias Røwde founded a rubber factory in Askim. The brand name was Viking and the factory started to produce galoshes to prevent shoes from getting muddy and wet.

The shoe is made from highly breathable synthetic mesh with hot melt overlays that increase support and durability. An EVA midsole delivers great cushioning and a removable molded insole helps provide a safe and supportive fit. The high profiled rubber outsole with Viking’s Ultimate Grip Concept, means high traction on the trails and beyond. The shoe is fully windproof, waterproof and breathable, and features GORE-TEX invisible fit, which provides more freedom of movement and less irritation of the foot – perfect for highly active outdoor enthusiasts wanting the most out of their shoe.

The Gore-tex membrane is OEKO-TEX 100 standard and Bluesign® certified. Underneath, Viking’s new UGC 2. outsole, powered by Michelin, provides the best possible traction thanks to an optimized tread pattern and a special outdoor rubber compound. Delivered with an extra set of laces, matching the outsole on extra colorful days.

The medium last fits a wide range of feet and the shoes come with a waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX membrane. The Gore-tex membrane is OEKO-TEX 100 standard and Bluesign® certified. Support and cushioning are the result of a molded EVA insole. For fast, effortless, precision fit there is a Boa Fit System instead of laces.
