Philosophy
History
The shoe business in the North of Italy dates back to the Middle Ages when in Venice craftsmen called “calegheri” used to construct and sell shoes to the rich venetian merchants. By the beginning of XIX century, documents record that shoemaking was known and practised in Montebelluna. After World War I people became interested in mountain sports and Montebelluna’s craftmen started to produce mountain boots. Also our Morlin family, that from the end of 1800 used to construct shoes, decided to create its own boots too, starting a journey that, after six generations, we are still living.

Technology at your feet
The UPPER is made in a single piece of Kevlar fabric incorporating, in the lower part, a natural rubber sole. The upper completely wraps the lining and all the structural elements, including the sole lugs that make up the shoe.
The natural rubber footprint, developed in partnership with MICHELIN®, is obtained through a casting process on a mold, and it is associated with the lining to which a shock-absorbing EVA wedge has been previously attached. The lugs are specifically designed for maximum grip.

The Patented “Fuso” technology ‘s purpose is to drastically innovate the footwear production system by defining a new concept that reduces all the production’s steps, melting all the structural elements into the upper itself.
The two components, the upper that incorporates the structural elements and the lining, are connected only in their lower part and they work independently but complementary, mutually contributing to the definition of the dynamic customization of the fit thanks to the wrapping effect exercised by the upper through the lacing.
