Since its very early days, Boreal pursued a research and development program to improve the performance of rock shoes and boots for hikers and mountaineers. We produce all climbing shoes, trekking and mountaineering boots in-house at our factory in Villena, Spain. Many employees stay at BOREAL for their entire careers. Boreal’s new Bamba model with Michelin sole is an extremely comfortable shoe suitable for everyday use. Perfect both for walking on trails and for a first approach to climbing in moderate terrain, it can also be worn for travel and road use.

The Michelin outsole with reinforced toe box that absorbs shock and protects the foot on the most complex terrain, supports stability along with the TPU insole and provides perfect traction, to move comfortably and safely on various types of terrain.
