Etnies is the first skateboarder-owned and operated global action sports footwear and apparel company. etnies not only pushed the envelope by creating the first pro model skate shoe, but pioneered technological advances and changed the face of skateboard footwear forever.

The Marana Slip XLT features the super-durable Michelin rubber compound – taking inspiration and characteristics from the classic Marana but applying these tried and tested features to a vulcanised slip-on construction. The sidewall is also extremely durable – featuring double-wrapped foxing tape that sandwiches in the rubber toe-cap. The same goes for the extra heel support. The sole is the same, vulcanised unit from the super successful Joslin Vulc which, if you didn’t already know, is unique in the skateboarding footwear world having previously only ever been used on cup-sole shoes. This simply translates to superior board feel but with unrivalled durability.
On top of the monstrously tough and sturdy features there’s some lovely, fine aesthetic details too with the stitch line and perforations on the toe-box reflecting the legacy of the original etnies Lo-Cut from the 90’s. Furthermore, the footbed is a ‘drop to the floor’ performance level 2 insole -which is extra thick on the heel for impact protection so there’s maximum comfort without compromising board feel.
